Friday Night Clinic

AthletiCare at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital offers athletes an option when it comes to their game night injuries. The Friday Night Clinic starts at 9:00 pm each Friday night during football season. Our clinic is staffed by HSHS Medical Group sports medicine physician, Scott M. Bilyeu, MD, and an entire team specially trained in sports injury care.

“This clinic is unique because we will be in contact with the athletic trainer already at the game and will have the most accurate information when you need it the most,” says Bilyeu.

Friday Night Clinic runs from Friday, August 26 through the end of the High School football season in the Medical Arts Building on the HSHS St. Mary's Hospital campus - 1900 E. Lake Shore Drive, Suite 150.

No appointment is necessary; however, to expedite care, we encourage you to phone in with an estimated arrival time. Please call the clinic while in route or with any problems getting to the clinic at 217-464-5970.

Benefits of the clinic include:

  • Expedited Sports Injury Care, overseen by a team specially trained in sports injury care.
  • AthletiCare trainers are on site at games to help determine if immediate care is recommended.
  • Direct communication between the Sports Medicine Clinic and AthletiCare trainers at St. Mary’s to speed up your recovery and therapy.
  • Program designed to get the athlete back in the game as quickly and as safely as possible.
